Biggin Hill Air Show, 26 June

On a sunny weekend in June, the skies echoed to the sound of Spitfires, Hurricanes, and German aircraft as they whirled and dived over the Kent countryside. Seventy years on, celebrating the Battle of Britain, the Squadron joined the Biggin Hill Airshow to see the best of the old, with the excitement of the new. Cadets and staff baked in glorious weather, as they watched the air displays by a range of aircraft, as well as merrily enjoying the delights of the various ground attractions – including a dubious looking “walk on water” experience! It’s great to see so many cadets enjoying themselves in aviation!
