Pilots Take To The Sky
While others were being grounded by autumnal weather, the next generation of pilots were getting their first taste of flight over the skies of Oxfordshire. Some of the group have recently completed their First Class training, and although they were taught what to expect from their first flight, and what flying they could look forward to as Air Cadets, none of them expected to get the chance to take the controls so soon.
The first time fliers couldn’t help but agree – with smiles that suggested they had not yet come down after their airborne experiences. Sadly, the increasingly stormy wind conditions forced an early cancellation, but we hope to get the rest of the cadets up again soon! Congratulations to all who flew for the first time.
The Squadron is currently recruiting – so if you’re over 13, and want to be part of an organisation which offers this and more, then please get in touch!
