In the early hours of Sunday 15th November 2009, five cadets rose even before the sun to make their way to Kenley WWII Airfield for a day of adventures in the sky!
The cadets embarked on an adrenaline filled day in the air, getting involved in all aspects of glider flying from preparing the aircraft for launching, to actually trying their hands at flying the Viking Gliders themselves, some for their first time! A huge deal for anybody, let alone for a group of teenagers barely old enough to drive a car!!
