Where are we?

The Squadron shares the TA Centre on Baring Road with 265 Bty of the Territorial Army, and a local Army Cadet Force Squadron. If you wish to visit, the Squadron is open between the following times. We recommend contacting a member of staff before you visit; so we can accommodate you and ensure that all of your questions are answered.

Squadron Location Map:

1921 Squadron is based at the TA Centre on Baring Road.

Travelling by car:

1921 is a short drive from the main A20 and A205 routes. From either direction (approaching Hither Green/Lee areas) follow signs for the A2212 (Baring Road) towards Grove Park and Elmstead Woods. The Squadron is in the TA Centre on Baring Road, just before a church and a Tesco garage. Please note that there are no parking facilities on the Squadron, in compliance with the request of the TA Base Commander.

Travelling by rail:

Grove Park train station (Zone 4) is closest to the Squadron. Upon exiting the station on to Baring Road, turn right towards the Tesco garage, and continue for a brief walk up Baring Road. The TA Centre and Squadron will be on your right.

Travelling by bus:

The TA Centre on Baring Road is served immediately by the 273 and 261 bus routes, with other buses stopping local to the area and a brief walk away from the Squadron.

Upon arrival:

Enter the main TA drive towards the gates. A door entrance is located to your left. Please press the buzzer marked "ATC". A member of staff or a senior cadet will come and collect you. On arrival, please come to the main office or OC's office, so we are aware of you and can help you find your way around the Squadron!
